The GKCPA listserv is a communications tool available to GKCPA members and other psychology-related agencies and individuals.  It is most commonly used to provide members with notice of CEU opportunities and relevant events.  Additionally, members occasionally ask questions about client referrals and other practice-related activities.  The listserv is managed by GKCPA member and UMKC Professor, Nancy Murdock, PhD ( This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it ).

Join us on the GKCPA email listserv and enjoy having important information automatically sent to you.  Contact your GKCPA colleagues with one email.  

To join the listserv:

1. Send an email to This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it .
2. Leave the subject line blank.
3. In the body of the message, type the words "subscribe" and "gkcpa" .
4. After these words, type your email address and name.
5. Example:  subscribe   gkcpa   This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it    John Johnson
6. Click Send.
7. You will receive notification of your addition to the listserv, and can unsubscribe at any time.

To post on the listserv:

Any GKCPA members can post information important to the general membership or ask questions of them via the listserv.  Use of the listserv to sell copyrighted psychological testing materials is not an appropriate use of the listserv.  Members are encouraged to post material themselves rather than rely on the Administrator to do this.  The following steps will facilitate listserv postings.

1. Address an email to gkcpa@listserv.umkc.edu.
2. Provide a succinct, but descriptive, summary of the message in the subject line.
3. Type, paste, or forward the message.
4. Send the message and wait for a return confirmation message from the listserv.  The message will be posted only after the sender has approved the message.
